Tavelamer®

Tavelamer® (Sevelamer Carbonate) is indicating for lower high blood Phosphate. it is categorized as phosphate binder and use for Patients with chronic kidney disease on dialysis. It is use in adult and children 6 years of age and older. This phosphate binder is calcium free, metal free, does not accumulated. the Sevelamer carbonate’ s buffer is different from Sevelamer hydrochloride. This formulation may be more appropriate for patients at risk for metabolic acidosis who require phosphate binders that do not contain Calcium or Aluminum.
