Pantoprazole is one of the drug that belongs to the group of proton pump inhibitors and it is effective in reducing gastric acid secretion. This drug is also used to treat gastrointestinal injuries such as benign gastric and duodenal ulcers, syndrome Zollinger-Ellison, reduction of gastric acid secretion in surgeries and prevention of recurrence of gastric contents (Esophageal reflux) in the short-term.
